Our approach

Old-world grace,
delightfully unstuffy.

We pair the effortless warmth of Charleston hospitality with the quiet polish of British charm. No finger-wagging, no fuss — just genuinely useful know-how, delivered with wit and a great deal of color.

Margaux, founder of The School of English Etiquette, trained in London under a former member of The Royal Household of Queen Elizabeth. Mary is an AI product executive who has spent her career designing executive training and experiences people love — now applied to how we gather, connect, and celebrate.

Together, they created The Charleston Society to bring both crafts to one address: the polish of true protocol, the intelligence of great experience design, and a shared conviction that good manners were always meant to make people feel comfortable, confident, and considered.
